A Steadfast Stegosaurus

Our petite Late Jurassic bibelot depicts the largest of herbivorous dinos that featured dorsal plates. The plates were probably the “roof lizard”’s way of saying come hither, or even for thermoregulation. A quick whack of its spikey tail, however, could dispatch predators.

Steadfast Stegosaurus measures 2 ½” (65 mm) L x  ½” (10 mm) H x 1 1/8” (25 mm) W
